A name well established in cruising circles, Leopard Catamarans launched the Leopard 43 designed by Simonis-Voogd. Though many associate Leopard with fair-weather cruising in tropical destinations, all of the boats travel under their own canvas and steam from the Robertson & Caine boatyard in South Africa to their delivery destination. At 42 feet, six inches long and 22 feet, nine inches wide, the Leopard 43 draws four feet, three inches in her deep hulls and has demonstrated proven blue-water capabilities. She is probably most comfortable as a tropical cruiser with an eating area under the hard Bimini, twin bow pulpits and a swim platform on the transoms.
The Leopard 43 was designed as a short handed, comfortable and reasonably fast passage maker. Hand laid up by experienced craftsmen and designed by well know designers Simonis & Voogd. Over 1300 Leopard catamarans sail the 7 seas since 1997. Leopard catamarans offer unparalleled standard for seaworthiness and cruising performance, combined with the best possible comfort inside & outside.
COOL CHANGE is a beautiful example of the charter version and well worth a look. Continued potential charter income available if so desired.
