“Kinetic” is a customized KC62 Catamaran, combining comfortable spacious living, with power and grace. Set up for short handed sailing, this is a boat that offers performance, with supreme comfort. The ideal bluewater performance cruiser for the sailor who knows what he is looking for – whether that be coastal or worldwide sailing, cruising, racing, entertaining – or simply relaxing at anchor.

Designed by Simonis Voogd Naval Architects, “Kinetic” was designed with a single goal in mind – to create a fast, world-class, carbon performance cruiser that offered more. A roomy 3 cabin arrangement, with a dedicated office. A spacious main salon, with panoramic 360-degree views. A forward sailing cockpit, that doubles as a 3rd leisure zone. And an aft deck, dedicated to leisure – provide more luxury, more space, more performance, and more sailing and cruising enjoyment.
Built by Kinetic Catamarans in South Africa, “Kinetic” was commissioned by the owner of the yard, for his own use. A showcase for this new design, state-of-the-art infused carbon fiber construction make this a rugged, yet light vessel. And with no expense spared in interior fit, general finish, rig, equipment and systems, the result is a boat that is truly a showcase.
Launched in 2019, “Kinetic” has sailed much of the world’s oceans, providing validation of the general concept, and proof of the quality of her design and build. With miles under her keel, supported by a consistent schedule of maintenance, upgrades and improvements, “Kinetic” is today a proven, thoroughly vetted vessel, in turnkey condition, ready for her next owner, to continue her adventures.
