Inspired by the success of the R5 MKI and the exceptional qualities of the MKI, the MKII has emerged as the perfect fusion of both worlds. Our mission was to bring the best elements of the R6 to the beloved R5 platform, and the outcome is nothing short of remarkable.

The heart of the MKII lies in its redesigned hull, carefully crafted to be slightly wider and longer, providing a foundation for a host of enhancements. We were determined to retain the unparalleled comfort and ease of handling that the R5 is renowned for while elevating her capabilities to meet the expectations of modern performance liveaboards.

Continuing our commitment to innovation, the MKII version now comes standard with the powerfulTorqeedo deep blue propulsion system, showcasing our dedication to embracing electric propulsion. However, we understand that some may prefer a traditional diesel option, and therefore, we offer it as an alternative choice.

For an enhanced sailing experience, we introduce the optional ‘sail by wire’ package. This package elevates the already exceptional steering system to new heights by incorporating two additional onboard seated tiller steering positions. With remote control functionality for the traveler line driver and trimming winches, it creates a fully immersive and effortless sailing experience that can be enjoyed with just one hand.

In our quest for versatility, the 3-cabin version features an intentionally open starboard aft cabin. This purposeful design allows for a multitude of possibilities, freeing up the space for owner customizations.

One of the key advancements of the MKII is its increased hull volume, allowing for a touch of luxury and convenience. While the MKI already boasted an impressive array of creature comforts, we’ve taken it a step further by adding more finishing trims and spaciousness.

But innovation doesn’t stop at aesthetics; we’ve revolutionized the engineering behind the MKII. Embracing cutting-edge technology, the entire platform now boasts full carbon construction for all full-width bulkheads as standard. To ensure optimal weight distribution and structural integrity, each component undergoes a meticulous vacuum infusion process.

The MKII introduces more versatility into this range with semi-customizable layouts to suit most needs.

The MKII features a stylish saloon, incorporating a large corian and bamboo galley with ample storage. There is also a 4-zone induction cooktop paired with electric oven. A dual sink, microwave, storage for appliances and bar seating for 3 rounds off a fully functional kitchen with panoramic views to match. There is also a generous seating arrangement in the saloon with a rear bulkhead mounted pop up 40-inch television.

The galley table can also be converted into a full-size queen bed, perfect for overflow guest accommodation, kids’ area or a comfortable location for long voyage navigations. There are two large sunroofs on the saloon cabin for additional lighting with great visibility of the mast and sails.

The cockpit features seating for 8 with options to convert this area to a large day bed. When at anchor, the transom can fold flat, improving visibility whist improving functionality and access across the boat. All guest bedrooms feature discreet lighting, reading lights, air conditioning and USB charging stations. Layout options can include multifunction office/bunks, perfect for nomadic lifestyles.

3 bedrooms with on suite bathrooms, featuring stylish countertops with integrated sinks round off the accommodation. In addition, there is 4 portlights, per hull, with an additional escape hatch in the forward showers offering good ventilation thought-out. There is also flush mounted hatches in each cabin, as well as the showers, for additional ventilation and lighting with flyscreens and blackout shades.
