TIM CLARK BIOGRAPHY

Catamaran Specialist, Tim Clark, was born and raised in Northern Indiana.  After graduating high school, he attended Southern Michigan College with studies in Business Management.  He joined the US Navy in 1996 and served 9 years as a US Rescue Swimmer.  During his time in the US Navy, Tim volunteered for the Virginia Beach Dive Rescue Team.   In 1992, Tim became a NAUI Master Diver.  This resulted in securing his Commercial Diving License as an Underwater Construction Diving Specialist.  Tim’s passion for the sea brought him to the Gulf Coast in 2007.

Tim worked in the Oil & Gas Industry for several years during which he also volunteers as crew in moving vessels in and around the Gulf Coast.  When Tim met his wife, Siboney, they discovered they both shared a passion for the ocean, specifically, the Caribbean.  After a two-week vacation in the Virgin Islands, they returned to Kemah, Texas and Tim obtained his USCG 100 Ton Master Captain’s License.

Tim and Siboney sold their home and accepted a position in the Virgin Islands as Captain and Chef on a Luxury Yacht and provide up to 9-day Yacht Charter Vacations.

Captain Tim has extensive background in the yachting industry as he has lived on Luxury Yachts, participated in the Annapolis Boat Show for many years.  Tim is a volunteer for the Virgin Islands Professional Charter Association.

In 2023, Tim crossed the Atlantic to deliver a 2023 Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 from La Rochelle, France to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.

Due to Tim’s career as a liveaboard Captain, he has extensive experience in the mechanical structure of many yachts.  As such, Tim is able to share the advantages and disadvantages of specific yachts depending on the client’s vision for their yacht.  This insight provides Tim with the perfect opportunity to match the client with the correct yacht.
