The Knysna 550 puts style, luxury and performance in one package. She is designed to sail fast, and to stay stable, safe and easy to handle when you do.
Every 550 leaves the yard fully equipped as a liveaboard, with top-end finishes throughout and the cabinetry, fabrics and trims chosen by her owner.

A 15.4 m² Flexiteek cockpit with an eight-seat Burmese teak table, wet bar and ice maker, Weber barbecue and Fusion sound. The hardtop has a glass sunroof so you can see the sails from the wheel, and the saloon door slides fully open to the galley.
At the helm: Garmin navigation, electronic throttles, Harken electric winches, and optional electric genoa and in-boom mainsail furling.

The builder
Built to order on South Africa's Garden Route.
Knysna Yacht Company builds each 550 from scratch at its shipyard in Knysna, using vacuum-bagged GRP foam sandwich. Owners are encouraged to visit during the build and help shape the fit-out.
After launch, new owners get a seven-day orientation on the boat's systems and handling before sailing away from Knysna.
