E X C I T I N G stuff for catamarans

Today our cyclops devices arrived with huge thanks to Kent Grimbeek Just Catamarans and to Rafael Escobar – the Just Catamarans team always ahead of the game 👍

 

To Tom at Cyclops Marine thank you for your amazing time to explain everything to us and we sure look forward to putting these devises to the test when crossing the Indian Ocean this year.

 

Stay in touch guys – we’ll be sharing the installation and everything that goes with it but basically these units will transmit the loads felt on the shrouds that hold the mast to the boat and wirelessly transmit that data to our B&G chart plotter so we know when it’s time to reef the sails and take off the load. It’s going to stop the debates between Ana and me onboard about when it’s time to reef and not reef 😂 😉 😘

 

I‘ve been dreaming about this for a long time and finally Impi is doing it 👍👍👍👍
