Doug and Robin on an Outremer 5X – WILDLING

Doug and Robin, with their kids Gavin and Lindsay, were a pleasure to meet at the Outremer Cup 2016. We were assigned to their boat for the duration of the Cup which lasted 4 days.

During that time we truly appreciated their wonderful hospitality while racing against a gaggle of Outremers. We’ve been following them as they cruise to interesting places, Robin taking amazing pictures and Doug constantly updating us on the ins and outs of the mechanical, technical and practical workings of their catamaran. Interesting fact from their website: for the English speakers, Outremer is pronounced oo-tra-mare with the ‘oo’ sound like in foo or who, and the ‘mer’ sound like in stare. It means Overseas.
