Sport edition

Everything tuned for speed.

The 55 Sport is a sportier evolution of the Windelo 54, with considerable work on the appendages, the rig and weight. Windelo claims a performance gain of at least 10% over the 54.

She keeps what makes a Windelo a Windelo: bio-sourced and recyclable materials, a basalt-fiber build and electric propulsion as standard. What changes is how she sails.

Inverted bows raked up to 17° add 33 cm of waterline.

Reshaped and extended by 65 cm for more lift upwind, in carbon fiber.

Structure & interior

Lighter inside, sportier in feel.

To save weight and handle greater loads, the main structural bulkheads are 100% carbon fiber. Inside, the layout is lighter and more technical, with exposed basalt fiber and carbon helms giving the boat a sportier character, without giving up the comfort of living aboard.

In all, the Sport editions are more than 500 kg lighter than the Windelo 50 and 54, and a performance hull wrap sets them apart at the dock.

Proven offshore

From Cannes to the Atlantic.

Hull #1 made its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, then was entered in the ARC transatlantic rally from Las Palmas to Saint Lucia, a full-scale test of the Sport package with Multihulls World following her performance.
