MARK WOMBLE BIOGRAPHY

Based in Newport Beach, California – Mark is a California licensed yacht broker, with 15 years of experience in yacht sales.

A sailor since childhood, Mark has a well-rounded background in racing, cruising, professional yacht delivery, and yacht ownership. He has sailed the Caribbean, Bahamas, Mexico, east and west coasts of the US, Australia, the Mediterranean, the South Pacific and the North Atlantic. This sailing experience is combined with a wide-ranging professional background in the marine industry; including professional yacht maintenance & management, yacht construction, and sales.

Mark brings 50 years of specialized multihull experience to the table, which makes him uniquely qualified for selling catamarans. Starting with his first ocean race on a trimaran in the 1970’s, Mark developed a passion for these innovative new multihull sailing platforms; joining the early pioneers in this field, participating in the evolution of these new designs; evolving along with the industry.

Mark’s most recent experience has been in the sales of high-end, performance cruising catamarans; with a 9 year stint, working in a sales role with the highly regarded multihull design firm of Morrelli & Melvin. His primary focus in these years was the sales of high caliber multihulls in brokerage; and the development and sales of the new generation of performance cruising catamarans, offered by HH Catamarans.

A recent addition to Just Catamarans’ team, Mark looks forward to bringing this extensive background and enthusiasm to bear, in helping his customers find that “best fit” multihull with brokerage catamarans and new catamarans.
