In 2018 / 2019, the Catana 50 was completely refitted by Catana with new engines, rigging, new Hydranet sails, and much more. The interior has been completely modernized into an owners version. Everything on board is in excellent condition. Without a doubt, Untethered is the best Catana 50 on the market today.

The Catana 50 is one of the best ocean cruising performance catamarans available. The Catana brand is known for quality construction, fast yet stable and with deep dagger boards for good to windward performance.
UNTETHERED is a superb example coming out of Catana’s NEO refit program in mid 2019. The boat has had both a technical and an accommodation refit meaning that almost everything was replaced with new equipment etc. The result is outstanding. The interior is completely modernized with new white work surfaces in the galley, new grey headliners and a new custom laminate light wood flooring throughout and new grey upholstery. This makes for an elegant contemporary feel. Added to this are some clever ideas including a large standing fridge freezer replacing the under counter version.
UNTETHERED is now an owner’s version, with the starboard hull forward cabin transformed into a vast dressing room, bathroom and walk-in shower. The technical condition of the boat is irreproachable. She has a luxury Highfield center console 3.4m dingy with brand new 25Hp Suzuki engine. In all, there is everything you might need to enjoy your ocean cruising, right down to the deLonghi coffee machine.
