Fountaine Pajot Belize 43 Catamaran DANICA 1 Sold By Just Catamarans

Just Catamarans announces the sale of a 43′ Fountaine Pajote Belize Catamaran built in 2002. DANICA 1 is a well-maintained sleek Fountaine Pajot Belize 43 located in Grenada. She was sold by broker Derek Escher who represented the Buyer.

The Fountaine Pajot Belize 43 has proved to be a very popular catamaran with a sporty look, strong build, and a reputation for making fast passages.  This example is the owner’s version with queen berth, large head with a separate shower, and a lounge area.  It also includes space for a library and has plenty of cupboards and a washing machine.

The second hull has a queen berth and head, while the third berth area has been converted to a very useful workshop.  Both sleeping berths have comfortable custom box spring mattresses
The salon is a large open plan space with ample windows and a patio door to the comfortable and roomy cockpit with wrap around seating and dinette. There is plenty of storage throughout the vessel

The helm station is well equipped and comfortable with an overhead hatch that allows ample visibility for docking, anchoring, and mooring maneuvers.  The dinghy sits in davits ready to easily launch at a moment’s notice with a choice of two different outboards. The anchoring system is simple and reliable for almost any situation and is proved in over 40 knots on more than one occasion.

DANICA I was sailed in the Mediterranean from new for ten years by her first owner before being purchased by her second owner who kept her in the Med for five years, doing numerous upgrades but never actually sailing her. The current owners purchased her in 2017 and sailed her in the Mediterranean for two seasons before sailing to the Canary Islands and across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. They then joined the World ARC in 2019 and completed a circumnavigation of the globe in 15 months to return to the Caribbean. In so doing, they crossed through the Panama Canal, Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, Cape of Good Hope, and back across the Atlantic Ocean.

She has been a reliable trustworthy vessel and is a pleasure to sail.
